Playground
The Developer has donated lot 27 at 1121 Michigan Avenue to the community for use as a playground. This property will be developed, with the assistance of Goshen Park and Recreation Dept, into a playground for use by North Meadow Estates residents. This becomes another part of the commitment to a pleasant community and a great place to live and raise a family. North Meadow Homebuilders is a family operated business, dedicated to providing high quality homes at affordable prices in North Meadow Estates. Involved in the business are Carl Van Gilst, Developer of North Meadow Estates; Darryl Riegsecker, General Contractor;
and other family members. This group has been designing and building homes since 1997. We use only top quality materials and skilled contractors to provide exceptional value to our customers.

We currently have several homes available for sale. We also have lots available
where we can build exactly the home you desire.
We are a full service builder and seller of high quality but affordable new
homes. We offer direct sales of spec built homes or custom built homes on
our lots, or will work with any reputable realtor. If needed, we can assist
with selecting an appropriate lender to finance your purchase. Lenders that
we suggest include Goshen Community Bank (Laurie Cline) 533-2006, Campbell
and Fetter Bank (Tim Doyle) 534-5083, and Countrywide (Rick Stanley) 534-9040.
We also arrange closings with Landamerica
Lawyers Title Company.
New homes are nearly free of property taxes for the first year. A home built
during the summer of 2007 will not be assessed until March 1, 2008 with taxes
due in May and November of 2009. With the $35,000 homestead credit and $3,000
mortgage exemption, taxes for most homes in North Meadow are under $1,000/yr.
North Meadow Estates is a restricted community which assures that it will
remain attractive, pleasant, and never overcrowded. A complete copy of the
restrictions will be provided to prospective residents.
